RELIEF SCULPTURES WORKS ON CANVAS/PAPER
Since his emergence as a young artist in the early 1980s Joel Claude
has produced a remarkable body of evocative sculptures and multimedia paintings.
He creates unconscious archetypes, gestural works inspired by the
creative unconscious that are a celebration of life. Claude's flair for abstracting
form is balanced with an ability to represent a subject at its most
essential, as we might conceive it in our mind's eye.
